Can someone please share with me is it possible to transition to the windmill when spinning a butterfly or 3 beat weave?

Would you just reverse 3 beat weave or split time into it?
I only seem to get to the windmill when I do the 3 beat weave into a reverse. Looks like a dodgy half fountain lol!

I bring butterfly fairly high up at face level then its easy to put one hand back behind my head to get into a fountain, do an extra beat with one arm so youre split time and just slip into it. I hope this was helpful tongue

With the transition from butterfly, you will need to change the direction of one of the poi.

From either weave is easily doable, but reverse feels most natural.

my favorite windmill transition is the one Nick does right at the beginning of this video from split-time hip reels using a bit of body tracing:

so. awesome. I learned body tracing solely for this reason.
